What causes airline prices to change daily?

I am trying to get a ticket and sometimes the lowest prices is $950 and other times it is $650. What causes such a hike in price? Any tips on getting the cheapest deals?

1. It's called supply and demand. Basic economics. They charge what the market demands. It's cheaper to fly on Tuesday than it is on Friday. Think about that and see if you can figure it out.
2. It always depens how the flight is booked. To get a cheap rate it´s better NOT to fly f.e. Fridays and Sundays/ Mondays (for domestic flights between two big cities) as the businesstravellers are on the road then. Same for your flight to holiday destinations - never book your flight in school holiday time, around public holidays etc.
3. normally every airline has a lean season for every sector/destination they have. it is every lean season that they have cheap rates. and every pick season has the highest rates. if you want to have a cheap rates better book your flight months before. the closer to the departure date the more expensive the ticket cost. with regards to daily price change it depends on the dollar exchange rate of every country. for example when you book the ticket in the philippines and pay the next day in USD no price change but when you book the ticket at a rate of USD 1 is Php 45 and pay it the next day in Php if the rate of USD to Php is the same as when you book the ticket no price change but if the rate of USD to Php has changed from USD 1 - Php 45 to USD 1 - Php 47 then you will be paying more in Philippine peso.but if the rate is USD 1- Php 43 then you will be paying less in Philippine peso
4. Airline Prices may change due to this: 1. The Stock Market : Maybe U.S.A. is needing more money. LOL 2. Holiday : Well, during holidays, many people expect for cheaper airline pricess such as the lenten season, many people go to their hometown. 3. The Fund of the Airliner : What?? Expecting for Cheap Flights?? Dream ON.. Many airlines lose money coz' of everything they do like expanding or Buying Land for their HQ. 4. Welga Kami or Rally : Well, many people will rally for Cheap Prices.
