- www.site59.com for last minute bargains!
- go to http://www.expedia.com
- check with www.expedia.com travel.yahoo.com www.orbitz.com and sometimes goto the airline sites www.aa.com and www.united.com etc..
- www.priceline.com www.expedia.com www.makemytrip.com (Assuming you have a valid credit card) most of them take credit cards only. Good Luck!
- hotwire
- I have found that sometime calling the airline directly will get you a better price than websites like Priceline, Expedia,ETC...Try it.
- SouthWest Best Prices I have ever found especially late in the game.
- If you don't mind driving check flights into Dallas or Houston - usually you get better rates, also if there is a bigger city near you - that might help too. If you have a family emergency, illness or death in the family some airlines have special pricing for these circumstances Also check Southwest as San Antonio is the hub for that airline. Contenental hub is Houston and Americans is Dallas. Good Luck!
- Forget Orbitz, Expedia, Travelocity, Princeline and the like and check out kayak.com Kayak isn't a travel agency like the other ones so there's no additional fee. Kayak.com works like a search engine, just enter the dates and the airports and it finds the best deals for you...for free! It links to you to the appropriate site to buy the ticket directly from the airline and at cheap prices. No other site offers such a giant selection of airlines. Trust me, check them out and you won't go back to those other sites. Ha! I just made a quick comparison Expedia= $438 + $53taxes Kayak= $317 taxes included!

- Do you really want to fly on the airline with the 'cheapest' price? Remember that old saying, "you get what you pay for".
