- Jody - you have answered your own question - let me show you how - Go to google .com and do a search for "cheap air tickets" - look at the top 5 websites and I am sure you will get - what you are looking for...... Still, to make things more comfortable for you - here's the list of reputable websites who are into the selling cheap air tickets business - cheapoair.com - my personal best orbitz expedia priceline etc... All the best for the same.... pal
- You can try priceline.com orbitz.com or the airline themselves like JetBlue even though they had some delays normally they are pretty good also southwest. If you book 3 weeks or more in advance you can save and also if at times if you fly standby which is if a seat opens up at the last minute though there's a chance you might have to wait for next flight. Sometimes also if you're your willing to take a connecting flight ie once I flew from Chicago to Cincinnati then to san diego to have over a hundred then had layover in Las Vegas for 12 hours and saved more....
- To check all the sources given to you so far, plus many, many more, go to http://www.bookingbuddy.com Enter you cities and dates one time, and it can check over 40 of the best sources around the world, including Kakay, Orbitz, Mobissimo, Farechase, airlines direct, consolidators, site-scrapers, aggregators, Hotwire, Priceline, and more. It's a huge time-saver. If you can only check 1 source, this is the best one, in my opinion.
- Many major airlines guarantee that you will find the cheapest flights on their own websites. I always check sites like expedia.com or orbitz.com to see which airline has the cheapest flight, and then I go to that airline's website and pick the same flights. Probably 99% of the time I get the exact same price (or occasionaly cheaper) with the airline. Plus most of those sites charge a "booking fee" of $5 or more. So I always go to the individual airline's website. Also check the "low fare" carriers like Southwest Airlines or JetBlue - they don't list their fares on most of those sites. Althogh they're not always the cheapest... Actually JetBlue seems like it's always more expensive than American or USAirways.
