  1. Keep this a secret: www.bt-store.com It is a database you type in the date and time you want to go and it searches every airline and flight going to Houston from Richmond at the time you requested and comes back with every fare from the cheapest to the most expensive. Forget places like priceline.com, travelocity, yahoo travel, and expedia.com - first of all, they make deals with certain airlines and so sometimes a certain fare will show up on expedia or priceline but not travelocity. Before I found Best Travel (www.bt-store.com) - I found fares on expedia, that weren't on travelocity, and some that were on priceline that weren't - Ahhhh! Forget it. Best Travel (www.bt-store.com) is a database not one of these resale sites and gets ALL the fares from EVERY airlines - and will let you know immediately if there is a change in the fare and immediately refer you to the next lowest fare. You have TONS more flexibility as it displays all the logos of every airlines flying to where you are going, so if you have a favorite airline and don't mind paying a little more so you can add to your frequent flier account, you can go that way. Or if you don't care if the airlines is "El Cheapo-No Perko" just click on the cheapest fare. Did you ever wonder how those travel agents could tell you so quickly how much one airline cost, but if you left an hour earlier or later you could save $100? It must have been this data base. Happy Travels!
  2. try JetBlue
  3. www.expedia.com
  4. You have to try FareChase! http://farechase.yahoo.com - it searches dozens of sites all at once so you don't have to. Check it out!
  5. check out www.sailortravel.com I booked travel on here and found cheap tickets Jeff
  6. There aren't any dedicated low-cost airlines on RIC-Houston (IAH or HOU), so you're limited to sale fares from airlines as being the cheapest possibility for you. People have their favourite sources that they share here, and it's good to shop around because 1 source is not always cheapest. I like BookingBuddy because it checks about 40 sources, including the airlines direct, and it checks sites that check other sites, all with 1 input of cities and dates, so it's a real time-saver. It makes tracking down cheapest fares easy. http://www.bookingbuddy.com In the next 30 days, $252 looks like the cheapest roundtrip, this on USAir and AirTran, midweek travel days, with advance purchase and Saturday night stay.
  7. I have a little travel blog that will help you find the cheapest airfare! Use the Kayak search bar on the right side to find the cheapest airfare! The blog is about travel to and around Europe, but you can use the Kayak bar to find really cheap flights anywhere in the world! http://besttravelsearch.blogspot.com...
