I am planning to fly back home for the July 4th weekend. July 1st-7th. When is the best day to purchase? And what is a good website. I was wondering what day is the best to purchase them? 1. Well I'll buy them now, busy travel season, plane tickets go fast, looking on delta today for tickets to Ct only 15 seats on the flight for july 13. I like buying from Orbit they give you price assurance if another orbit customer books the same flight for cheaper they refund the cost difference. Usually they say a month in ahead is the best time to book and try flying on Wednesdays and Thursdays. but I never noticed prices going up and down before or after a certain time.
2. You always wanna buy your tickets during Spring Time! More towards the winter than the summer. So buy them right now! As soon as possible. And pick a cheap airline: like U.S. Air but remember, also pick a good airline. 5. You need to buy as soon as possible since you don't have much time before your trip. You should buy your ticket at least 14 days before you fly out.
