Where can I find a cheap airline ticket?

I'm trying to find a really cheap airline ticket website, but they are all so expensive. Where can I find a website with really cheap airline flights?

1. www.airtran.com Its a good company that offers really cheap flight tickets. Unfortunetly they dont fly out of every airport in the US.
2. The prices are what they are. If you have left booking too late or if you want to go on a popular route, you will not get a cheap fare. if Southwest or JetBlue operate on your route, look at their websites as they do not release flights to other websites.

Just like gas stations and grocery stores, the prices will always vary from place to place. Some suggestions, if your dates and times are flexible - then that can help you save some money. If you can drive to a nearby airport (less busy) that can sometimes save you some money. Just don't rely on one place to always be the cheapest, even if you have booked travel with them in the past. 6. Just in general, I like dohop.com for international flights, and kayak.com is good bet for domestic US flights. Always make sure you check at least two sites, as it is very unlikely that one site will have all the cheapest flights.
