Where to Find a Super cheap Flight to Brazil?

Ok i want to visit my Bestfriend/lover lol and she doesn't have a visa so she can't visit me at the US. so i've come to a point to go visit her at Rio Brazil. Now the point of this question is, all i can find are $1,000 or more ticket for a round trip. but i kno that theres cheaper ones out there. i have Friends who have a uncle or aunt that go there and spend about 700 or a lil less. where can i find a ticket like that?
