Best Cheap Airfare

What is the best website to book cheap flights?

I want to book flights from UK ( Manchester ) to Bolivia (any city) for January 2010 (flexible dates) returning from Argentina (Buenos Aires) to UK (Manchester) December 2010 (flexible dates). I want to get the cheapest flights possible and it doesn't matter how long it takes to get there and back. How do I find super cheap flights ike that? STA Travel were very expensive (£3000+). I am looking or flights less than £1000. Any tips/advice would be great.

  1. Have a look at sunshine.co.uk they are fantastic xx
  2. Air France because you only make it half way across the sea.
  3. Get the best deals by visiting some specialized sites that compare instantly airfares from different airlines. The most popular ones are listed here: http://www.willgoto.com/1/023798/liens.aspx More precisely, Opodo, and TerminalA may offer good deals, without added fee. Check also Travelocity. No hidden fees. Use flexible dates in your query whenever it is possible. As for december 2010, I think it is too early for booking.
  4. try skyscanners.com or .co.uk just put where u want to go loads of airline prices hope this helps
  5. Expedia has the cheapest flights by far, of all of the tarvel companies online they have been around the longest, originally under a different name, every time I search I wind up booking through them, even if you search around make sure to check it out - here is their promo page - http://www.dpbolvw.net/click-2944039-10521345
  6. There are two reasons why you are finding your tickets to be wildly expensive: 1) You're looking for a round trip ticket with a stay of close to a year. Most of the cheaper tickets only allow maximum stays of 30 to 60 days -- longer stays mean higher fares. 2) You're trying to buy a ticket in advance for a time (December 2010) when tickets just aren't available yet. Most airlines only sell their tickets 11 months (330 days) or so in advance, so to build that round-trip combination, it appears that the travel agent is trying to sell you two one-ways (one for a fixed date in January, and one with an open return in December) to get what you need. Given the parameters of what you're trying to accomplish, I don't think you'll get the price down as low as you want. The likeliest way you're going to be able to do it is to buy two return tickets -- one for January, from the UK to Bolivia and back, and one for December, from Argentina back to the UK and returning to Argentina, and simply throw away the halves of the tickets you won't be using. Technically, this is against airline rules, but it's unlikely that you'll be caught doing it as long as it doesn't become a habit.
  7. use http://flyairfares.com
  8. I wrote an article on this very subject. You're probably best to think in terms of the 'right' price rather than the 'cheapest'. Decide on what you'd like to pay and aim for something as near to that as you can. However - be realistic. You're not going to find return flights for £20! The guide contains not only the best way to source the flights (websites etc - there are many) but how to try and bring the price down by way of information relating to what type of flight, time of day, airports and a whole bunch of stuff. Good luck and a great journey to you.
  9. www.skyscanner.net Compares all airlines prices and also allows you to book.
