Website for cheap air flight tickets?

Does anybody know a certain website that is the same or better prices as www.AllegiantAir.com with prices starting at 49$ per flight? I need a flight around that price at a certain time that Allegiant doesn't provide.

1. It really depends on where you need to fly to, from where, and staying how long? This is necessary information to give a good answer, and not just guess. Please add details; I'll check back later to finish my answer for you. ITASoftware.com is good, but it does not show Allegiant, Southwest, and many other low-cost airlines that don't participate in other booking sites. That's why I say it's important to know where exactly you need to travel from/to.
2. There is one you may want to try: http://www.itasoftware.com It can find very low fares for you, but you cannot actually book on the site -- you have to take the information and either call the airline directly or send the info to a travel agent. So it depends, I suppose, on how much trouble you want to go to. I have found some extremely low fares on there.
