Best Cheap Airfare

Best way to find cheap flights?

I need to find the cheapest tickets to get to Chile end of June-beginning of July. I've tried a lot of websites, and as of now, I haven't found any "reasonable" prices below $1300/person ($800+ for a total 27 hour flight and like 2-3 stops....not my thing...). What are the best ways to look for cheap flights? My mom heard looking at midnight online...is that the best we can do? i plan to leave from JFK

  1. Your best bet to find the cheapest flights is to go directly to the airline website. Not the many travel sites, like Expedia, Priceline, CheapTickets...etc. Also, aside from the airline website, call them directly and speak to a travel reservationist. They'll be the ones best likely to find the cheapest tickets.
  2. Aerolineas Argentinas $921 r/t total per adult passenger for this itinerary, travel midweek days. Connects in Buenos Aires. It's an overnight flight, about 13 hours total travel time each way. This is by far cheapest I see for this itinerary; I used Farecompare and ITA for you to find this. Book this price from consolidator http://www.onetravel.com -- a special price they have with this airline for this itinerary.
