What is the best site to find cheap airfare?

My friend and I are planing trip to Nicaragua during spring break. We're kinda short on money right now but I know the prices are going to raise quickly and I want to get the purchases taken care of now. I've honestly been searching all day... The lowest I've found from Portland, OR is around 550 and from San Francisco is 430. That is low, I know, but does anyone know of a place I can get lower prices?? I've tried all of the sites I can think of... Thanks!!

4. Fares vary with departure days / dates. There are 3 good search-booking engines in the website referred below. Airfare.com, cheapOair and Vayama. Search from a Monday to Sunday between any 2 airports in the world and you will find the cheapest option for that day / date.
