Best Cheap Airfare

what is the best way to get cheap airfare?

Other than the regular Orbitz or whatnot..... the travel is from IAD (Washington Dulles) to RAP Rapid City South Dakota Sept. 10th approx08:00 to return roundtrip Sept 27th! mid - afternoon. tkts are 455 per person, Is there a way to get this lower? When do rates go down???? 1 adult, 2 children. please help. Is there a way to call and get the airline agents to get the cheapest fare? or is Internet fares the best. ....... Any suggestions would be great.

1. I have found the cheapest fares at www.qixo.com and www.airfare.com. Farecaster.com predicts if fares will go up or down based on historical rates.
2. i recently had a similar problem flying from columbus, oh to los angeles. i booked through travelocity.com. i registered my info with them and had them email me when a r/t ticket went below a certain price. you have plenty of time i think this will help you out
