- www.sidestep.com Or if you're a student by any chance than try www.studentuniverse.com they usually have really good deals for students.
- The airline. What you do is go on a couple of those travel sites and put in your flight to see which airlines are available. Then go on to the site with the cheapest price and book through them directly.
- http://www.worryfreevacations.com/ hotdeals/origin.do? try the link above it is worry free vacations, from MLT they have great deals
- dude i just looked at that sidestep.com website and i coulda saved 200 bucks on my trip home for xmas AND it would have been a direct flight... DAMNIT!
- There is no one single source that will always be cheapest--you have to shop around. The quickest and best way I've found to compare lots of the best sources is http://www.bookingbuddy.com You put in your cities and dates one time, and it can check about 40 sources, including Sidestep, Orbitz, Kayak, Mobissimo, Qixo, Farechase, Hotwire, Cheaptickets, airlines directly, and more. It's a huge time-saver. However, not all airlines show up in the majour booking sites. Airlines like Southwest and Allegiant Air, which serve Vegas, have to check direct with their websites. http://www.iflyswa.com http://www.allegiantair.com
- cheapair.com.............lets you pick different carriers by price for each way of a round trip
- Travel prices in general are up this year. Unfortunately had you booked your hotel/air together you would have gotten a package airfare discount. April is high season, spring break. The longer you wait it will only go up in price. This is based on availability. As far as online sites to book, why not try a travel agent. Online isn't always "cheaper".
- I have checked Travelocity, Orbitz, Expedia and the airline itself many times. I always come out with the cheapest flight buying from the airline itself online. I've tried cheap tickets or cheap seats and while they are cheap...I hate having to have 3 stops and change planes twice in one flight from Detroit to Vegas or Detroit to Dallas. 12 hours travel time for a flight that takes 2 1/2 hours is not a deal to me, even if the ticket is free.
- Depends where you are from Allegieant Air has direct flights around $115 one way
- i like www.kayak.com
